{"id":179,"date":"2016-09-15T01:28:51","date_gmt":"2016-09-15T01:28:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.morganlights.com\/ChristmasBlog\/?p=179"},"modified":"2016-11-23T16:38:14","modified_gmt":"2016-11-23T16:38:14","slug":"lor-controller-timing-issues-fixed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.morganlights.com\/ChristmasBlog\/holiday-lights\/lor-controller-timing-issues-fixed\/","title":{"rendered":"LOR Controller Timing Issues &#8211; Fixed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is a follow up to the post about the timing issues.\u00a0 We received the E1.31 bridge, I made the DMX to LOR crossover cable and we put it all in place.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_183\" style=\"width: 232px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.morganlights.com\/ChristmasBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/E1.31.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-183\" class=\"size-full wp-image-183\" src=\"http:\/\/www.morganlights.com\/ChristmasBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/E1.31.jpg\" alt=\"E1.31 Bridge\" width=\"222\" height=\"227\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-183\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">E1.31 Bridge<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I\u00a0used the network line that originally ran through the LOR dongle\u00a0to the LOR controller.\u00a0 I plugged the line into the network switch, and the other end to the E1.31 bridge.\u00a0 From port 1 of the bridge I ran the crossover cable to the LOR controller.<\/p>\n<p>The next part really surprised me.\u00a0 I already had my programming done in XLights for the LOR controlled lights.\u00a0 I figured I would have to reprogram those channels since I deleted the LOR controller and then added the controller back in as a E1.31 device.\u00a0 Once I did, the programming was still there and since I added the same number of channels back that I deleted, everything in the setup remained the same!<\/p>\n<p>Right off the bat, the timing was perfect.\u00a0 It&#8217;s the small victories that drive us forward.<\/p>\n<p>The journey continues.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"676\" height=\"507\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2EF6gAiEsik?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a follow up to the post about the timing issues.\u00a0 We received the E1.31 bridge, I made the DMX to LOR crossover cable and we put it all in place.
