While I was talking with a friend of mine – Jeremy Fisher, owner of 3HourFlip.com <\/a>(a site you really should visit), we discussed storage of extension cords.\u00a0 I had been taught year ago by a friend, Bob Wilson, a process called “Pig-Tailing” the cord.\u00a0 Jeremy had never heard of this and suggested that I publish a post on this process.<\/p>\n

The process is simple.<\/p>\n

Step 1 – Find the middle of the cord and tie a loop in it\"Pig<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 2 – Feed the cord through the loop and create another loop\"Loop<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 3 – Repeat until you can’t loop anymore\"Last<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 4 – Feed the ends of the cord through the loop and tug to complete the process\"Tuck<\/a><\/p>\n

This unit can now be stored without concern of it getting tangled.\u00a0 When you are ready to use the cord again, simply reverse the process.<\/p>\n

This method will give you years of worry free, tangle free use of your extension cords.<\/p>\n
