There is a set of buttons we will be using for this configuration: \u00a0the M, the S, the plus, the minus, and the OK buttons. \u00a0This\u00a0post will demonstrate how we use these buttons for the controller.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Power up the controller<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press and hold the M button to get into the setup screen<\/li>\n<li>Press M again to get to system setup<\/li>\n<li>Press S to get to the configuration screen<\/li>\n<li>Press S again to get to the static IP setup page<\/li>\n<li>Use plus and minus buttons to change each of the 4 octets to the IP address of your choice<\/li>\n<li>Use the OK button to advance to the next octet<\/li>\n<li>Press the S button to advance to the subnet mask (in my case, I used subnet 255.255.255.0)<\/li>\n<li>Use the plus and minus buttons to change the\u00a0each of the 4 octets to the subnet mask of your choice<\/li>\n<li>Use the OK button to advance to the next octet<\/li>\n<li>Press the S button until you return to the DHCP-NO screen<\/li>\n<li>Press the OK button to save the configuration and the controller will reboot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>At this point, we are done with the configuration using the AlphaPix buttons and we will now move to finalizing the configuration using a web browser on our laptop.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"676\" height=\"507\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9ymwI0u39ww?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.morganlights.com\/ChristmasBlog\/uncategorized\/configuring-the-alphapix-4-controller-video-ii\/\">Click Here for the next Post in this Series, Finalize the AlphaPix configuration<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.morganlights.com\/ChristmasBlog\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=65&amp;action=edit\">Click Here for the Last Post of this Series, Building the Arches and Testing<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this post\u00a0I will be demonstrating the setup and configuration for the Alphapix . \u00a0These steps would also work with the AlphaPix 16 but I&#8217;ll be using the 4 for the leaping arches.
